Grain
Grain is a major part of Central Montana Co-op’s business operation. To stay ahead of the competition we strive to be the information leader in the industry, working closely with our producers to get the most out of the market, rather than just quoting prices and buying grain.
CMC has locations at Kershaw, Great Falls, Denton, and Geraldine. These locations handle mainly a mix of spring and winter wheat but also include a smaller amount of feed barley. Each offers qualified grain buyers who stay abreast of the happenings in the grain market and can give sound advice to area producers as to the sale of their crop. To help CMC customers manage their risk in volatile markets, we have recently established a CHS Hedging branch office led by Jon Sheehy at our Kershaw location.
Whether you’d like to discuss marketing strategies or just looking for an alternative place to haul your grain we’d be happy to talk with you. Stop in or give your local Central Montana Co-op a call today.
